Xinan passed unanimously after giving a presentation on his thesis work, “Quantum resources in quantum networks: quantum entanglement and beyond.” Xinan was one of the first undergraduates to work with me when I came to UIUC. It’s been a joy having him in the group, getting to know him personally, and seeing him develop into an excellent researcher! Our pets will miss him as well 😊.
