Prospective Students!!

Dear Students,

I am always excited to work with motivated and curious students coming from a background in ECE, physics, CS, and/or math.  However my capacity for taking on new students is limited.  If you are interested in learning more about the group or eventually participating in research, please take the following steps.

Undergraduates:

  • Send an email with subject line “undergraduate student interested in quantum information science”, and then come introduce yourself during office hours.
  • Attend weekly group meetings.
  • Take my ECE 498EC quantum information processing course and/or study the course notes.

Graduate students:

  • Send an email with subject line “graduate student interested in quantum information science” that includes your CV and/or brief description of your background, and schedule a meeting to introduce yourself.
  • Attend weekly group meetings.
  • Take my ECE 498EC quantum information processing course and/or study the course notes.
  • Familiarize yourself with the group’s research activity by reading our papers (which can be found here).

Thank You,

Eric
